It will make the athlete more energized and thus he will be ready to face the next step of training. Weight training is essential for each and every sport.

Make sure that your high jump training is not tiresome for you. Strenuous workout can lower your potential and has a negative effect on your performance. The load stresses you out and you are not able to deliver your best. Don't strain yourself too much. Take a break when needed from your high jump training sessions and let your body rest.

Remember, your desire to jump higher is only limited by your dedication and training. Don't use the excuse you were born like this!
